On 7th February 2021, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Gawharshad University (GU) and Khana-e Noor institute of Higher Education (KNU) according to their bilateral interests on teaching, research and studies, and as a contribution to an increasing national cooperation between them.

The main Objective of this MOU lies in advocating better platforms and resources to promote better quality in higher education and establishing a framework within which co-operation may develop between both institutions.

Khana-e Noor, was established in 2009 as modern academic institution with the objective of promoting inter-disciplinary higher education and research with special emphasis on high quality, effective learning and state of the art facilities.

Gawharshad University Considers this an essential step towards improving quality, effectiveness and student support services. Both institutions hope to contribute in providing better education and facilities to the students that can lead into a prosperous higher education system in Afghanistan.
