The Gawharshad University Library is a rich library that, in addition to its academic disciplines, has other resources in various departments to enhance academic capacity and access to scholarly resources. It should be noted that the resources of this library are in two languages; Persian and English. English books are in the areas of: Administration and Management, Economics, Human resources, Law and Political Science, Computer Science and other fields.

The Gawharshad University Library is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for 11 hours every day and the professors and students can access the resources through this library. The books are lent for a certain period of time for the students to use. The library also has free access to magazines and newspapers. The students can also use other students Monographs.

Library functions

1. Organize library resources and materials using methods such as cataloging, sorting, and indexing to make them easy to access.
2. Providing and Developing Library Resources: The library resources are collected and developed based on modern policies and strategies, the type of library and its objectives, and the needs of students.
3. Providing users with access to information and services by using modern library information services.
4. The Library management using management strategies such as planning, budgeting, and systems analysis trying to be integrated and systematically serving students.

1. Recognize and determine the needs and demands of students and attracting new users.
2. Speed-up educational and research processes by making available the necessary resources and information.
3. Develop a culture of study and help increase students' knowledge.
4. Assist in educational programs of all faculties at the university.
5. Provide suitable conditions and facilities for study and research.
