The Department of Political Science is another department of this faculty. The Department of Political Science is the focal point of the Gawharshad Institute of Higher Education.Given the importance of political knowledge and the presence of experienced professors, a range of political activists and brilliant talents of our community are trained or are learning in this department.   Graduates of this department acquire the following abilities:

• Political leadership of the society at a high level
• Taking the leadership of ministry of foreign affair in different positions.
• Teaching, analyzing and researching political issues
• working as political advisor in different ministries
• Doing job in country’s political representative abroad
