On 17th January 2021, Gawharshad University and Cordaid Signed a memorandum of understanding with Cordaid’s Bright Future Programme focusing on creating employment opportunities for educated youth in Afghanistan.
The Bright Future Programme’s main objective lies in providing employment and internship opportunities to fresh graduates from universities and institutes of higher education. This program was established in 2017 and continues till the end of 2021. In addition to employment opportunities, the programme helps youth in starting up their own businesses and providing technical support to small enterprises.
This programme is implemented with the cooperation of Cordaid, Bayat Foundation, Hamida Barmaki Foundation and Crosswise Works.
Gawharshad University considers this an extremely essential step towards eliminating employment insecurities and promoting inclusivity of youth in different sectors of the country’s workforce.
